Though this comm doesn't seem quite active, I was wondering if there is anywhere to obtain a copy of Chris' Larceny? I did find a place that has Doodlebug included in a collection, which I hope to obtain shortly (I don't know if my mum would want to dish out approx $30+usd? I think it is, for a DVD in which I'm only truly interested in one film on it!)
I really adore Jeremy Theobald's acting. I've wanted to see him in some new film for ages now!
And I think I was about the only person who got all excited inside to see Jeremy in Batman Begins. Probably one of the only people who even noticed him, yeah?

Also, anyone know if there is an available soundtrack for Following?
Hope someone sees this and can answer the questions!

After a year of absence from livejournal, nothing but the love of Nolan could bring me back.

I have nothing to say as of right now about this man that all of you do not already know, so I'll save my "HOLYFUCKHEISGOD" spiel for another time.

Anyone have any news on The Exec or The Prestige? I know it's been announced that Nolan is to do The Exec before working on the next Batman installment (which I sincerely hope he does), but I haven't heard much about The Prestige, other than it's high in his priorities and Jonathan is supposedly writing the script, if he has not already done so. Apparently, the book's author, Christopher Priest, is thrilled about the prospect of working with our Christopher. Good then; hurry up and let's have the film then. Any information on these upcoming projects would be lovely, if any of you dears knows anything.

On to goodness! Here is a lovely Nolan interview. It's all about Batman, Batman and Batman. He talks about his first memories of the Dark Knight and what it was like to work with His Royal Bale-ness in costume. You need Windows to view it. Oh, and to be a help, click on the link that says CHRIS NOLAN. Yes.

Hm, I wonder what Nolan's going to do next. As much as I want to see that Batman sequel, I really don't want him to rush into it. If we have to wait till 2008 for a batman begins 2 (God, as long as its not called 'Batman Continues' or 'Batman Progresses Further') then I'm fine with that..as long as when the credits roll it clearly states "A Christopher Nolan Film". I've heard he's going to do a picture called "The Exec" before Batman, which is also based on a graphic novel apparently. Another film I've heard his name attached to (although can't remember the title of at the moment) is about competing magicians in the 13th century or something, which would also be wonderful. Ohwell, until then we have the 'Memento' 3 disc, and Batman er, Begins again on DVD soon =)

Yesssss.. completely forgot about this community... and I made it... Pfft.. anyways, saw Batman Begins the other night and it's the thumbs up from me... superb bit of casting with Christian Bale, best batman yet... and Gary Oldman... he really is the bizz.

I was basically just posting to point out how happy I was to see a cameo from the delighful Jeremy Theobald (Bill from following if you're not in the know) I don't think I've ever been so excited by a cameo... had to stop myself squeeling for fear of making my boyfriend deaf.

Go and see it now if youy haven't already!

It doesn't look like anyone posts here right now but just wanted to drop in and say that following Batman Begins Chris is now established as one of my favourite directors. Memento was one of my fave films already and I also liked Insomnia but I was not completely sure how he's make the switch to Hollywood-blockbuster but I shouldn't have doubted him for a second. He has taken Batman, stripped away all the guff and the sour taste left by 'Batman and Robin' and made not just a really good Superhero movie, but also a really good stand alonee FILM.

It is poretty much a lockk that they are making a sequel to Batman Begins but I hear that Nolan has not yet signed on. I REALLY hope he does because I fear the next installment could fall apart (again) if left in the hands of a less capable director.

A needed community [25 Feb 2005|08:15pm]

This is a needed community, and I have joined, obviously. I love Following and Memento, and I plan to see other Christopher Nolan movies soon. So, hi, there do not appear to be many members of this community, but eventually, there might be more.

Hey, the community's up and running so please feel free to join and start posting away... even if it's just introducing yourself, I need something to get this community going.

Thanks
